On those days when it looks like spring but still feels like winter, Paloma is warm and cozy, but delicate and feminine and perfect for warm-ing up weather. I’ve been dying for a deep, slouchy cardigan I can throw over a spring dress or delicate top and this is it.
The color is just gorgeous, and a little bit of a surprise in such a heavy texture. I love how bulky yarn takes this motif though, and I’ve added a few details that play off of the double seed - single ribs that stand out from the stitches and more pronounced seams along the sides. More delicate seams at the shoulder keep the sweater feeling light and flattering, and the transition between ribbing and the body is kind of cool. Plus, pockets! Who does not love pockets!?
