New patterns, galore! Welcome our first sock pattern, Lihtan! These are designed by Jennifer Burke, who's done all sorts of lovely things including the Asteracea cowl and Aereon cardigan for O-Wool. She also has a beautiful boot sock pattern, McIntosh, in the recently published book November Knits (I don't know how I'd get through winter without boot socks). Lihtan, knit in Classic 2-Ply, is a great sock pattern for knitters looking to start their second or third pair. It features a simple charted (and written-out) lace pattern and straightforward instructions. These socks are worked top down with a heel flap and a basic toe (paired decreases on each side and grafted at the end). Scroll to bottom for important pattern info!
