Needles & Notions:
Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needle, 32" / 80 cm long or longer
Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needle, 32" / 80 cm long or longer
Size 6 US / 4 mm needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round
Stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle
Gauge:
20 sts and 28 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch using larger needles
Construction Notes: The body is worked in the round from the bottom up, then divided for front and back. The sleeves are worked separately in the round and sewn into the armholes. Cable and eyelet patterns are given in chart form only.
Wow! This is awesome! I have two tips, tuoghh:1) Cast on 58 stitches, not 60. I fits better, and you still cast off 8 (or six maybe? Ah well, it depends on how many stitches you have left on the last row).2) Use a crocheted cord about 3-5 inches long. Use any needle to sew it in little loops. It saves yarn and looks so cute!And Jamie, P1 and K2 mean purl one and knit two.
