Hey folks -
The increases on the "Top Border Strip" section of the Aethercopter pattern are quite simple once you get them, but can be confusing at first.
Take a look at this video, particularly the part that speaks about "Daughter, Mother and Grandmother" stitches: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYOYMJBGxrw
Then look at the instructions again:
insert RH ndl from front to back in st 2 rows below (GRANDMOTHER) st currently on RH ndl and pick up one st (wrap yarn, bring to front, leave on RH ndl - essentially you are knitting a st into the Grandmother st below the RH ndl)
Other side:
insert RH ndl from front to back in st 1 row below (MOTHER) st currently on LH ndl and
pick up one st, (wrap yarn, bring to front, leave on RH ndl - essentially you are knitting a st into the Mother st below the LH ndl)
Please let me know if there's more info I can post to assist knitters in making the piece!
