The fiddlehead ferns in my yard are sprouting. Spring is here!! That means some new patterns and a Maryland Sheep & Wool Pop-Up Shop!

Forbidden Drive Scarf in O-Wash Fingering

Fobridden Drive Scarf
The first new free pattern I have to share with you is the Forbidden Drive Scarf. Knit with two skeins of O-Wash Fingering, shown here in Pearly Mussel. This stuff was such a pleasure to knit with -  I know you'll love working with it. It incorporates some easy lace and cables and the stitch definition is outstanding. The pattern includes a chart and written out directions.

FINISHED SIZE: 9" wide, 58.5" long

GAUGE: 12 sts of large center cable = 1.25"

NEEDLES: Size US 3 (3.25 mm)

NOTIONS: tapestry needle, cable needle.

One vertical repeat of Chart = 1.5"

Susan B. Anderson's Tiny Owl

Little Owl Plushie
One last adorable thing to leave you with. Whoooo wouldn't love this Little Owl? This fast and fun project from Susan B. Anderson is a seamless knit from the bottom up using O-Wool Balance. The wings and feet are picked up and knit directly onto the body. At 4 1/2-inches tall, this little buddy is perfect for little hands, tucked in among the pots of seeds you might be starting inside, or even a friend to sit on your desk.
Thanks for your interest and support! It means the world to me.

All the best,
Jocelyn J. Tunney
