Say Hello to O-Wash Fingering!

Cuckoo Flower, Boreal Bluet, and Brook Trout
There is now a second machine-washable certified organic merino yarn in the O-Wool line up, O-Wash Fingering! This was the O-Wool hit of Rhinebeck for sure - I sold out of 5 colors! I am looking forward to seeing all the new projects created with this stuff - post them on Ravelry already! Rest assured it wasn't all snapped up at Rhinebeck - you can check the website for the entire color palette and order online!
Wood Dove, Bee Balm, and Juneberry
O-Wash Fingering is silky, soft and smooth - the photos simply can't do it justice. This is the perfect baby yarn - light weight, buttery soft and machine washable. It's the perfect sock weight, too - and this is as close as I'll ever get to "sock yarn" (there's no such thing as organic, local nylon :) ). And, best of all, it's organic and affordable!!

The Next Chapter in the Local Story

An email or two ago I showed you bits and pieces of my adventures visiting alpaca farms. Well, here's the fruits of those many, many trips: FOUR PALLETS (that's a lot of alpaca fiber...) heading off to be cleaned. The fiber is currently at the spinning mill, anxiously awaiting blending with the organic merino. All the colors of Local (and some newbies) will be back so soon! I think this will be the softest batch yet...

Happy Knitting and Crocheting!

All the best,
Jocelyn J. Tunney
