The New York Sheep and Wool Festival, aka Rhinebeck, is less than a month away! I am frantically knitting to finish up awesome new patterns, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of *the new yarn* (eek!)! I hope you will all stop by so I can see what wonderful items you turned O-Wool into last year, and (fingers crossed) to grab some yarn this year! I wonder how many Blue Bell Hill Scarves, Livezey House Wraps, and Garfunkel Hats I'll see? Come ready with your must-make project list and I'll hook you up!
Alpaca Fiber Adventures!
My current supply of Local is rapidly dwindling! You love this yarn as much as I do - woohoo! This month I have been busy visiting farms (6 and counting!) across New Jersey and Pennsylvania to buy alpaca fiber for the 2015 production of Local. This is the squishiest, spongiest, most wonderful alpaca fleece. I wish you all could touch it... but soon enough you will.
Snap up some Local before I run out - it may be Spring before the new batch is ready... Happy Knitting and Crocheting! All the best, Jocelyn J. Tunney |
