Some free pattern ideas for Fall

It's that time of year - the time when many knitters turn their minds to holiday projects. Please let me live vicariously through you and your holiday gift knitting! Assiniboine Cowl

I paired a unique cable pattern with an i-cord edging.
Easy-to-memorize stitch pattern means a quick knit!

DESIGNER: Jocelyn J Tunney
FINISHED SIZE: 23" circumference, 14.5" tall.
YARN: Legacy DK / 3 skeins. Shown in 4568 Cypress.
GAUGE: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4" over Cable Chart.
NEEDLES: Size 6 (4 mm): 24" circular (cir). Spare ndl for three ndl BO. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.


<3s! Hat

A super cute colorwork pattern on a basic beanie. You could even knit this with Legacy DK to make a large hat and have different color combo options!

FINISHED SIZES: Child (14" circumference at rib), Adult (18" circumference at rib).
YARN: Classic 2-Ply / 1 skein each MC, CC1 and CC2, shown in 8101 Chocolate (MC), 4412 Dogwood (CC1), 4411 Begonia (CC2).
GAUGE: 30 sts and 30 rows = 4" in Stockinette Stitch.
NEEDLES: Size 1 (2.25 mm): 16" circular (cir). Size 3 (3.25 mm): 16" circular (cir) and double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.


Kodachrome

This baby blanket is a fantastic beginner's project. Stockinette, seed stitch and garter stitch combined with simple increases and decreases - and on big needles!

YARN: Balance Bulky / 2 skeins each, shown in 1000 Natural (A); 6001 Boltwoodite (B); 6002 Crocoite (C); 4001 Cinnabar (D).
GAUGE: 8 sts and 14 rows = 4" in Stockinette Stitch.
NEEDLES: Size 13 (9 mm): 32" circular. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
